This morning we had an all boys preschool class. I've had a bit of a cold the last couple of days and like parents to know if there are germs in my house so they can decide if they'd like to skip the day or not. So today we had the four boys and EMan for preschool. We started by doing some corn syrup painting.
We went fishing for letters.
We played with the Leap Frog alphabet doghouse.
The boys worked together to put the alphabet floor puzzle train together. It was so interesting to watch their strategies for how to do it.
"R" found the letter O right off, which is what we are studying this week, and he had to go match it up to the alphabet on the board. It was so fun to see the connections he was making!
"J" singing the "P says /p/" song after catching the p when he was fishing.
Who knew that play dough took so much effort? These boys were using ALL of their muscles!
"R" made an O out of his play dough.
We also explored the pattern blocks. "C" was busy making "Farms" for all the little play animals.
"R" practiced his sorting/sequencing by size skills.
Towards the end of the day we got to be detectives by turning off the lights and using mini flash lights to find letters throughout the room.
You guys always have so much fun! :-)
