You can't possibly spend a week of study about candy without actually going to the candy factory! We enjoyed our field trip with some great friends from our playgroup,
Little Adventures Group.
Everyone got awesome candy making hats!
We had a great group to go on the tour. The kids had a lot of fun exploring the factory together.
C decided to be a grump and pull his hat over his face, it was cute and funny and caught on with all the kids (not the grump part, the hat over the face part :).
First we watched a little movie about the factory.
Then we got to go watch!
The awesome part about this factory is that everything is hand made. The videos we watched were about how machines can do all the work, but everything does taste better hand made!
T brought along a little spending money and picked out a lollypop for himself and his brother.
C also brought along his birthday money, thanks Nana!
And little EMan got a treat as well.
The boys didn't stay clean for very long after opening their treats, and for once in their lives they were still awake when we got home - a very rare occasion in deed.
